Project Overview
My Role
This web application is designed to streamline the hospital discharge process by allowing patients and their guardians to track their discharge journey in real-time. By providing clear updates on discharge procedures, required actions, and estimated timelines, the platform ensures a smoother and more informed experience for patients. Additionally, it reduces the communication burden on nurses, allowing them to focus on critical care while minimizing repetitive inquiries. This solution enhances hospital efficiency, improves patient satisfaction, and optimizes workflow management within healthcare facilities.
As a key contributor in a team of four, my role encompassed various aspects of research, design, and user experience optimization. I conducted primary, secondary, and on-site research to gain deep insights into user needs and hospital workflows. Through data analysis, I identified key pain points and opportunities, shaping the concept ideation process. Additionally, I was responsible for prototyping, user testing, and A/B testing to refine the platform’s usability. Beyond functionality, I also contributed to the creation of visual assets, ensuring a cohesive and user-friendly interface that aligns with the project’s goals of enhancing hospital efficiency and patient experience.

This project was a deeply iterative process, requiring constant refinement and adaptation based on research findings and user feedback. One of the biggest challenges was the scale of changes, with significant revisions even in the final stages. Each round of user testing and A/B testing revealed new insights, often leading to major design and functionality adjustments. Balancing these changes while maintaining a structured workflow was a key learning experience. This project reinforced the importance of flexibility, effective collaboration, and a user-centered approach. Ultimately, it highlighted how continuous iteration is essential in crafting a solution that truly meets both user and stakeholder needs.
